Comeback at the Towers

In the mid 90’s City leaders made the decision to use their HUD Sec. 108 economic development loan program to assist in key development projects. Working with the LDFC the City furnished the new developers of the former Wang Towers, now known as Cross Point, with a substantial letter of credit to enable the project to move forward and secure tenants. Today Cross Point is another symbol for Lowell’s ability to “bounce back” from a period of decline.
